  16. In a little over a month, we've received 50 members in FidoNet alone!

  22. In the FidoNet AMIGA echo, we've started our own "kick in the pants" response
  23. to the PC's TEAM OS/2. It's taking off like wildfire! We'd like to extend the
  24. invite to every Amiga devotee, everywhere! We have members from several
  25. countries.

  27. It's free. There are no dues. There are no rules. There are no officers.
  28. There are no idiots with a sense of pretentiousness (like CCISU or whatever
  29. the name of that "club" for Amiga Sysops was... ;).
  30.  
  31. To join, all you have to do is swear:

  33. 1) That you are an Amiga fanatic who extols the virtues of the Amiga to
  34. anyone and everyone you meet who is interested in computers (ESPECIALLY the
  35. PC crowd! ;) and now that the Amiga's future is looking up, you'll continue
  36. to do so even more fervently than before.

  38. 2) If you decide to join, always try to get your name, snail address, email
  39. addresses, and what model(s) Amiga you currently own, etc. to me to be added
  40. to the list, so (if there are any sweepstakes prizes to be awarded ;) ,
  41. we'll know how to contact you. Seriously, I'll keep a database, just for
  42. S&G's.

  44. (Footnote: Since this all started, it appears that there is a possibility
  45. that we may become "recognized", but that is only speculation on my part at
  46. this time...)
